GIF adverts must have animated images. Animated text only will be counted as a regular advertisement.

Flash advertisements must have something animated with Flash. Using only images pasted into flash does not count. That can be done as a GIF and will be counted as such.

Using original creations, such as dolls and sculptures, is no longer allowed.

You may not use old collaborations or artwork as advertisements. The advertisement’s original artwork must be noted to PotterShare within 24 hours of being uploaded.

If you try to submit the same advertisement twice, or resubmit an advertisement from last year, you will be penalized. Cheating will not help you gain points.

ALL advertisements must be coloured and contain PotterShare or Harry Potter related artwork. They must also be larger than 500x500 pixels and less than approximately 1000x1000 pixels.

Advertisements must be original artwork only. It can be drawn traditionally or digitally, but anything photographed will not be accepted.

Lack of effort will not be rewarded.

When noting your advertisement(s) to PotterShare, please give the note a subject that lets us know it is an advertisement, include a link to the ad and your house.
