Tomorrow is the first time we will be having Art Critique Night on a Saturday! It will be at 7pm EST in the #PotterShare chatroom!

This means we will be allowing critique of artwork (free thumbing!). We will also be having non-fan art assignments that you can do by yourself or with a partner, to help improve your artistic abilities, creativity or just for fun! These will earn you house points, and so will participating in critique and sharing thumbs!

Friday Collab: Fanfiction and art collab. 8pm EST.
Possible combos: writer/artist; writer/writer; solo writer.
-- Continuing stories can choose between the following options: New theme, roll (5 keywords), continue, change, plot twist, end. You may not repeat the same option consecutively (twice in a row).

Saturday Artist Critique Night: Share art, critique, collab or do a solo assignment. Assignments are non-fan art based on themes. 7pm EST.

Sunday Collab: Character collabs. Choose among 5 characters to illustrate. 7pm EST.
Possible combos: artist/artist; solo artist.

Compare Muggle and Wizard lifestyles. Pick one "every day" spell you would like to be able to use, and explain why. You may include an illustration for bonus points.

Defense Against the Dark Arts
1. Combine the 3 topics we discussed today into one illustration.
2. Write about Fenrir Greyback being a werewolf. Do you know any other werewolf villains? How are Remus and Fenrir different? At least 300 words.

Ancient Runes
Written: A short (250 words Min) paper about 'star' character, and their place in both the JK universe, our universe, and how/if it reflects in their overall character.
Artistic: Draw any one of the 'star' characters, portraying both the character, and the constellation in one drawing.

July Issue
In this month's issue, you can read about our second anniversary, all the new things we are planning for the new year, what our staff is up to, collaborations, class schedules, a featured artist and our member and prefect of the month!

We are always looking for writers - if you want to write an article for the newspaper, drop us a note!

PotterShare Yearbook
This project took over a year to accomplish! We had been postponing it and recently, I decided to just sit down and do it. It took hours upon hours, but I've combined all the portraits that were made by our volunteer artists () and prepared 14 pages of PotterShare members and staff! It's really neat, so check it out!

Did you miss your chance the first time? Send us a note with your portrait (100x125px on white background, house colours) or request an artist!
